The Seymour City Council will meet at 7 p.m. today at city hall, 301 N. Chestnut St., Seymour.

The agenda includes the industrial development committee going over compliance with statement of benefits for various businesses, a public hearing on an ordinance that would update sewer rates and additional readings for ordinances regarding additional appropriations and transferring CARES Act funding to the general fund. 

Also in discussion will be new ordinances for additional appropriations and a resolution approving a tax abatement for Fostech Inc.

The meeting is open to the public and press, and those attending should come in from the Third Street entrance.
