Jeremiah “Jer” Scott McCulley, age 43, a native and resident of Seymour, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Baptist Health in New Albany, Indiana.

Jeremiah was educated in Seymour schools and later graduated with honors from Indiana State with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and Marketing. He was a member of Delta Sigma Pi.

Known by his family and friends as “Jer”, he had a bubbly, caring and loving personality with an amazing smile. Simply put, he loved people and people loved him. He was always happy and had an infectious laugh, a big heart and would do anything for anyone who needed him. Jer loved to travel and especially spend time in Florida. He loved shopping, Marilyn Monroe, Snoppy and his beloved dogs Coco Chanel and Daphany. Above all the things in this life that brought him joy, nothing compared to the love he had for his family and friends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him and each life that he touched in his own special way.

Jer is survived by his Mother, Barbara Ann Dunfee and her husband Tim of Seymour, Indiana and his Father, Robert Lee McCulley of Tabares, Florida. One sister, Tiffany Dawn Combs and her husband Todd of Seymour, Indiana. Three Aunts, Teresa Hall and her husband Robert of Galveston, Indiana, Dawn Wischmeier and her husband Jerry of Brownstown, Indiana and Nancy Hickman of Valparaiso, Indiana. Three Uncles, DeWayne Nolan of Indianapolis, Indiana, Eddie Nolan and his wife Holly of Seymour, Indiana and Larry McCulley of Seymour, Indiana. He is also survived by a host of cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Angie Williams, Maternal Grandmother, Shirley Gentry, Maternal Great Grandmother, Edith Melloncamp, Maternal Great Grandmother Mary Jane and Great Grandfather Thomas Gray. Paternal Grandmother, Bonnie Mae McCulley and Grandfather Lee Edwin McCulley. Three Aunts, Bonnie Bullard, Sue McFarlin and Rita Roberts.

The family will receive friends on Sunday April 4, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Woodlawn Family Funeral Centre in Seymour, Indiana. Visitation will resume on Monday April 5, 2021 from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 PM in the Woodlawn Family Funeral Centre Chapel with Pastor Jimmy Rodriguez officiating. He will be laid to rest at Riverview Cemetery in Seymour, Indiana.

In Lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be directed to Trinity Lutheran High School or The Red Sky Rescue.
