Trinity boys regional tickets for sale

Tickets for Trinity Lutheran’s Class A boys basketball regional opening game versus Barr-Reeve on Saturday morning are on sale at the school office for $8 apiece.

The Cougars, winners of the West Washington Sectional last weekend, meet the No. 1-ranked Class A team at 10 a.m. in the Loogootee High School’s Jack Butcher Sports Arena.

Trinity has 1,200 tickets available, and Athletic Director Ryan Cremeans is urging fans to buy all of them because he is certain Barr-Reeve will sell its 1,200-seat allotment.

The regional championship game is scheduled to take place at 7:30 p.m. the same day. If Trinity wins the morning game and advances to the night contest, tickets will be available for purchase at the gym immediately after the first game.

Barr-Reeve is 25-2 on the season. Trinity is 12-13, though is 11-4 in its last 15 games after beginning the season hobbled by injuries.
