Jeff Newton has started Hope’s Kitchen at Austin Community Church, 485 Mann Ave., Austin.
A free dinner is served from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays, and a food pantry also is available during that time.
The food pantry also is available from 2 to 3 p.m. Sundays.
Both are open to the public.
