NOKOMIS, FL
Kenneth W. Knoke, 66, of Nokomis, Florida passed away peacefully on December 29, 2020. Kenny was born in Seymour, Indiana; the son of the late Harold and Charlotte (Willman) Knoke. Kenny graduated from Venice High School in 1973, where he served as the senior class president. Kenny was self-employed for many years as a skilled carpenter. He enjoyed running and loved both music and dancing. He always made people laugh and never met a dog he didn’t like. He is survived by his daughter Lana (Mathew) Kepler of Sarasota, FL; granddaughters Jordan and Reese Kepler; brother John (Ranee) Knoke of Venice, FL; sisters Diane (Butch) Ruddick and Barb (Don) Bruce all of Seymour. Other survivors include several nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends. Kenny was preceded in death by both parents; sister, Elaine Nolan; and nephew, Butchie Ruddick. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kenny’s name to the Sarasota County Humane Society at www.hssc.org or to The Legacy Trail at friendsofthelegacytrail.org. A private celebration of life will be held by family.
