Two Jackson County residents have been named to the dean’s list at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, for the fall semester.

They are Claire Smith and Grant Sutton, both of Seymour.

Eligibility is based on a minimum course load of 12 hours and a quality grade-point average of 3.5 with no grade below a C.

Approximately 55% of Belmont’s students qualified for the fall 2020 dean’s list.
