Kendall 65th anniversary

Jack and Marilyn Kendall of Seymour plan to celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary with a family dinner planned for a later date.

Jack and the former Marilyn Rumph were married Nov. 19, 1955, at the Freetown parsonage. The Rev. Edgar Walls officiated. They were attended by Robert Kendall, a cousin of Jack, and Wilma Browning Frische, a close friend of Marilyn.

The couple are the parents of three children, Kenny (Linda) Kendall, Don (Kelly) Kendall and Sandy Padron. Their grandchildren are Brian (Laura) Kendall, Aimee (Tyler) Nicholson, Laura (Tyler) Collins, Janel (Cory) McNew, Jason (Nea) Butler, Cassie Butler, Matthew Kendall (deceased) and Erich Lee Kendall (deceased), and their stepgrandchildren are Elasha (Brandon) Kepple and Garik Fleetwood.

They have six great-grandchildren, Kasen Nicholson, Keaton, Kamdon and Kinsley Butler, Braxton McNew and Brylie Bishop, and another one on the way.

Marilyn was a homemaker but worked later in life, retiring from the Rose Acre Farms VP office.

Jack was a farmer most of his life and later worked at Rose Acre Farms and retired from Walmart Supercenter.
