
The 2020 Brownstown/Ewing Main Street Concert Series will kick off July 11 at Heritage Park, 121 E. Walnut St., Brownstown.
In accordance with Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb’s Indiana Back on Track plan, the organization has canceled its June concert and will host four acts from July to October while maintaining social distancing guidelines.
"In these unprecedented times, we believe it is as important as ever to continue coming together to support each other, our small business owners and our community," the nonprofit organization said in a Facebook post. "We look forward to July 11 when we can reconvene with some great food, music and beverages.
The opener at 6:30 p.m. July 11 will feature Taylor Cromer and Justyn Underwood with food and drinks available from Salt Creek Brewery and Junkyard BBQ.
The remaining lineup includes Cody Ikerd and The Sidewinders and Forrest Turner with food from Tacos Mi Casita Taco Joint at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 1; an acoustic evening with James Dupré with food from TJ’s BBQ and Catering at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 12; and Kenna Elpers at 6 p.m. Oct. 10.
The concert series sponsors are Brownstown Electric Supply Co. Inc., The Peoples Bank and Schneck Medical Center.
