Rock’n Ready registration opens

Registration for Jackson County United Way’s seventh annual Rock’n Ready event is open.

The program provides basic school supplies to children in kindergarten through 12th grade to help them feel prepared for the first day of school.

This year, Rock’n Ready will look a little different as organizers consider social distancing and state guidelines for public health and safety.

There will be a drive-thru for parents and guardians to pick up supplies for the kids. Information will be released when it is closer to the event.

If you or someone you know is in need or has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, register by July 10 to guarantee supplies.

If you are not registered, United Way cannot guarantee you will be able to receive supplies the day of Rock’n Ready. All families who do not register will be asked to come back at the end of the day.

The online form is available in English and Spanish at jacsy.org/rocknready. Please fill out all children’s information in full when you register.
