The Jackson County Public Library is offering online programs in June.

Programs will be posted on the library’s Facebook page with a link to the library’s YouTube channel, which can be viewed at any time. Click the “Subscribe” button on the library’s YouTube channel and the notification bell icon to stay caught up with the library’s virtual programs.

Craft videos will be offered Wednesday afternoons by Discovery Bus staff and Friday mornings by circulation staff from Crothersville and Seymour.

On Sundays, virtual Tech Time will be available at 2 p.m. Topics for June videos include “Placing Holds in the Library Catalog,” “Registering for Library Programs,” “Using Libby for eBooks, eAudiobooks and eMagazines” and “Using ReadSquared to Register for the Summer Learning Program.”

Knit and Crochet Night crafters can enjoy a variety of videos, including one on the difference between crochet and knitting, to be posted at 6 p.m. June 11 and 25.

Information services assistant Angi Cursey will host a Mad Hatter version of “Tea Time with Angi” at 2 p.m. June 13. She will share some history of tea, tea party etiquette and more.

“By Jove! Building a Story on Myths and Legends — and Dragons” will be offered for the library’s Spilling Ink Writers’ Group at 2 p.m. June 20 on Facebook. Information services assistant Kathi Linz will share ways to incorporate themes from familiar myths and legends into your writing.
