Brownstown Park Board welcomes two new members

Two men recently were appointed to serve on the Brownstown Park Board.

Brian Isaacs and Justin Stacks participated in their first meeting May 19 a day after being approved by the Brownstown Town Council.

Isaacs said he graduated from Seymour High School but has raised his family in Brownstown since 2000.

"I look forward to a new experience," he said of serving on the park board.

Stacks said he moved to Brownstown in 2015. He grew up going to parks, so he said he is excited to contribute to the town’s park board.

Other members are President Brian Wheeler, Vice President Paula Workman and Secretary Rachel Johnson.

The park board meets at 7 p.m. on the first and third Tuesday of the month in the Brownstown Park indoor shelter house, 715 W. Bridge St. Meetings are open to the public and press.
