NORTH VERNON, IN
Mr. Howard “Wayne” Dodes, 77, of North Vernon, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2020 at Lutheran Community Home. He was born in Concord, Michigan to the late Hugh and Audrey (Rainey) Dodes.
A private graveside service will be conducted at Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison on Tuesday, May 26. A private flag and taps presentation will be conducted at Voss & Sons Funeral Service Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. to honor Howard’s years of service and dedication to our country.
Howard was a proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. He retired from Case Power and Equipment.
Howard is survived by his children, Corey Fugate, Nancy Dodes Cummer, Tara Anderson; 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and sister, Sandra Kent.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Robert Dodes.
