Relay for Life of Columbus conducted a virtual team captain meeting May 12.
The event had 13 teams with 85 participants who had already raised more than $28,000 for the American Cancer Society.
The event, “Peace, Love, Relay,” is now set for Sept. 12 at Central Middle School in Columbus. Registration is available at relayforlife.org/columbusin.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no T-shirts for participants, but they are encouraged to wear team shirts or vintage relay shirts to the event. A disc jockey also is needed.
