Friday will be a big day for Medora Community Schools.
From 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., students can go to the school, 82 S. George St., Medora, to pick up personal items. Ring the front bell, state your name and a staff member will help you get your materials.
From 8 a.m. to noon, administration will deliver diplomas to the school’s eight seniors. Graduates are welcome to be in their cap and gown so families can get photos of them receiving their diploma.
At 6 p.m., there will be a parade for the seniors. People are encouraged to line the streets and make signs to support the class on their graduation day.
Finally, a virtual graduation ceremony will be at 7:30 p.m. The video will be posted to Facebook and YouTube at that time. It also will be posted on the school’s website, medora.k12.in.us, in the form of a YouTube link.
