Schneck Medical Center has extended the application deadline for the Dr. Bud Nursing Scholarship to May 29.

In addition, due to the COVID-19 situation, an unofficial transcript will be accepted this year along with the application.

Candidates pursuing a course of study to become a registered nurse who have successfully completed their freshman year of a registered nursing program at an accredited school and are registered in a registered nursing program are encouraged to apply for consideration.

Primary consideration will be given to residents of Jackson, Jennings, Scott and Washington counties. Acceptance for enrollment at a nursing school is required for the scholarship to be officially awarded.

Applications are available at schneckmed.org/scholarships. Applications must be completed in their entirety and returned to Schneck Medical Center on or before May 29 to be eligible for consideration.
