Schneck Medical Center has created free online digital postcards for friends and loved ones to send special messages to inpatients at the Seymour hospital.
Sending a card, even with a simple message, can make a patient’s day better. Hearing from friends and family is an important part of recovery and can do a lot to improve morale.
“It’s a thoughtful way to tell someone you are thinking about them, especially during this time when we cannot visit our loved ones in the hospital,” said Stephanie Furlow, director of marketing at Schneck. “It’s very simple. Visit the Patient and Visitor page on schneckmed.org, choose from one of three designs and add a personalized message. We’ll print and deliver your card to your family member or friend staying with us.”
Designs include “Thinking of you,” “Welcome baby” and “Get well.”
