
The Indiana State Department of Health today announced that 464 more Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at ISDH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and private laboratories.
That brings to 3,953 the number of Hoosiers known to have the novel coronavirus following corrections to the Saturday’s total.
Jackson County had eight new confirmed cases of the virus reported, bringing the total to 36.
A total of 127 Hoosiers have died to date. Deaths are reported based on when data are received by ISDH and occurred over multiple days. Jackson County still has yet to report a death due to COVID-19.
The list of counties with cases is included in the ISDH COVID-19 dashboard at coronavirus.in.gov, updated daily at 10 a.m. Cases are listed by county of residence.
To date, 22,652 tests have been reported to ISDH, up from 19,800 on Saturday. A total of 132 Jackson County residents have been reported as being tested.
