
The Brownstown Central Community School Corp. board of trustees will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Brownstown Central Middle School, 520 W. Walnut St.
Students of the Month will be recognized and the three principals will give reports before a presentation by the Brave Botics robotics program.
Trustees will consider approval of the second reading of proposed changes to the student random drug testing policy, a resolution for the high school gymnasium floor sale, gym floor bids, a resolution to amend The Peoples Bank account, moving monies from First Financial Bank to The Peoples Bank, declaring Chromebooks as textbooks, an emergency evacuation agreement and disposition of old outstanding warrants or checks.
Superintendent Tim Taylor also will give a report.
The meeting and a work session at 6:30 p.m. both are open to the public and press.
There also will be an executive session at 7 p.m., but it’s closed to the public and press. The purpose of the session is to receive information about prospective employees and discuss individuals over whom the governing body has jurisdiction.
