An autopsy conducted Thursday morning on a 45-year-old Seymour man missing since late November did not uncover any signs of trauma, police said.
Kevin Lee Sheriff was discovered in a field in the 12000 block of North County Road 1250E northeast of Seymour on Monday afternoon, according to a news release from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department.
The autopsy was performed Thursday morning at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour by a doctor with Central Indiana Forensic Associates LLC in Indianapolis.
Sheriff, reported missing Dec. 17. 2019, was last seen Nov. 27, police said.
Sheriff Rick Meyer said the investigation also included toxicology reports, which might not be available for a few weeks.
