Stevens-Maxie engagement

Dalton Manuel Stevens of Brownstown and Denise Elaine Maxie of Crothersville plan to marry at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, 2019, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Brownstown. The Rev. Jeremy Yeadon will officiate. A reception will follow at Pewter Hall in Brownstown.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Linda Myers of Crothersville and Dennis Maxie of Crothersville, while the groom-to-be is the son of Curt and Leslie Stevens of Seymour and Perry and Jodi Myers of Brownstown.

The matron of honor will be Kayla Christopher of Brownstown, and the maid of honor will be Jordan Hainje of Kingsport, Tennessee. Bridesmaids will be Victoria Good of Whiteland and Stephanie Imlay of Columbus. Finley Wheeler of Brownstown will be the junior bridesmaid.

Blaine Stevens and Nigel Myers, both of Brownstown, will be best men. Andy Hackman and Keegan Roll, both of Brownstown, will be groomsmen, and Pierson Wheeler of Brownstown will be the junior groomsman.

Willow Deck, cousin of the groom, of Brownstown will serve as flower girl, and the ringbearers will be Brantley and Owen Stevens, nephews of the groom, and Jones Deck, cousin of the groom, all of Brownstown.

The ushers will be Dillon and Derrick Maxie, both of Crothersville, Chandler Christopher and Klint Soladine, both of Brownstown, and Casey Kirts of Columbus.

Rachelle Vaughn of Greenwood will be the guestbook attendant, and program attendants will be the bride’s nieces and nephews, Gracie, Kyla and Abel.

Denise is a 2012 graduate of Crothersville High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree in human development and family studies from Purdue University in 2015. She is director of the child care ministry at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church.

Dalton is a 2009 graduate of Brownstown Central High School and is the warehouse manager at Brownstown Electric Supply Co.
