Foreign territory

If you missed seeing "The Foreigner" at Actors Community Theater of Seymour this past weekend, don’t worry.

There are two more shows at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the theater, 357 Tanger Blvd., Suite 208, at Shops at Seymour.

Tickets are $12 and are available online at or at the door. Also at that website, you can buy a four-show season package for $30.

In the show, Charlie needs some time away and finds himself in a rural fishing lodge in rural Georgia. Everyone believes Charlie doesn’t talk because he is a "foreigner" from an exotic country and does not understand English. Taking the explanation that he’s a non-English speaker as fact, the lodge’s guests quickly begin revealing their secrets, and Charlie soon discovers scandals among some of the residents of the lodge.
