State Road 39 is scheduled to close from State Road 250 to State Road 256 from Monday to Aug. 2 for Indiana Department of Transportation maintenance crews to continue pipe replacement work.
The road will close daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. while work is completed.
Work will take place near Tampico in Jackson County. County roads will be accessible to local traffic only.
The official state detour for the closure is State Road 256 to Interstate 65 to State Road 250.
All work is weather dependent.
