Crothersville Community School Corp. is hosting a pair of events this week ahead of the start of the 2019-20 school year.
Sixth grade orientation is from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the school, 109 N. Preston St., Crothersville.
Registration for all grades will be from noon to 8 p.m. Thursday in the Tiger Lobby. Also that day, students can pick up their 2019 yearbooks between noon and 5 p.m.
Also, children entering kindergarten, sixth grade and 12th grade are required to have vaccines prior to starting school. Parents should check their child’s vaccination record to see if they are up to date. Those who need assistance with this should contact their physician’s office or the health department. If vaccines are needed, they should be scheduled as soon as possible.
The first day of school is Aug. 1.
