Boilermaker Special won’t be part of Purdue Night; other activities still on

Purdue Extension Jackson County received word Monday that the Boilermaker Special won’t be able to make it to a special event Thursday night.

Everything else planned for Purdue Night, however, will go on as planned.

In celebration of Purdue University’s 150th anniversary, the local extension office is conducting the event Thursday in front of the 4-H building at the fairgrounds in Brownstown.

From 6 to 8 p.m., the first 150 people to stop by the 4-H building will get free ice cream, and there also will be games to play.
