The Jackson County Public Library board of trustees received a report from maintenance specialist Ron Duncan during a meeting Monday at the Medora Library.

President Josh Bartley led the meeting, where the board also approved purchasing policy changes and reviewed a preliminary 2020 operating budget. The hearing on the 2020 budget will be conducted during the next regular board meeting at 5 p.m. Aug. 19 at the Seymour Library with adoption set for Sept. 16.
