Legal, financial planning workshop for elderly set
Schneck Medical Center is offering a free workshop about legal and financial planning for the elderly from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Aug. 15 at the Schneck Auditorium, 411 W. Tipton St., Seymour.
The featured speakers will be Lora Mount and Blake Reed, elder care attorneys with the Columbus law firm of Voelz, Reed and Mount LLC.
The pair will discuss the many changes that have been made over the past year affecting legal and financial planning and financial power of attorney, living wills, Medicaid and Medicare benefits, Veterans Affairs benefits and more.
Refreshments will be served, and adult caregivers will be available.
