The Kids Only Book Club for third and fourth graders will meet from 3:35 to 4:30 p.m. Sept. 3, Oct. 1, Nov. 5 and Dec. 3 at the Brownstown Public Library, 120 E. Spring St.
The club also will meet in 2020 at the same time Jan. 7, Feb. 4, March 3, April 7 and May 5.
Registration is required.
Participants must have read one book before each meeting. During the meeting, each participant will give a brief book talk about their selection. Following the book talks, participants will have time to socialize, make recommendations for future programs and participate in various group activities.
Snacks will be provided during all meetings. If your child has any food allergies or food-related medical conditions, send a snack with them.
Bus transportation after school is available to the library, so check with your school for the current bus route.
If school is canceled due to weather, the book club also will be canceled, and that meeting will not be rescheduled.
