Mr. Ronald L. Hobson, 76, of Seymour, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2019 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Sellersburg to the late Elmer W. and Crystal (Gilliatt) Hobson.
Memorial service will be at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Monday, July 15 at 3 p.m. with Michael Isaacs officiating.
Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Monday from 1 p.m. until time of service.
Ronald was a member of Ratcliff Grove Christian Church. He was a graduate of Bedford High School. On December 31, 1961, he married Dana Bowman; she survives.
Ronald retired from Cummins Engine Co. after many years of service. He was a member of Seymour Area Cruisers.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Dana Hobson; son, Mark Hobson; 6 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Sonja Guffey and Brenda (Michael) Isaacs.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Melanie Leeann Hobson; and brother, George R. Hobson.
