State Road 39 is scheduled to close from State Road 250 east of Brownstown to State Road 256 in Washington County beginning Monday for pipe replacement work.

The road will close daily through July 19 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. while the project is completed.

Work will take place north of Tampico in Jackson County. County roads will be accessible to local traffic only.

The official state detour for the closure is State Road 256 to Interstate 65 to State Road 250.

All work is weather dependent.
