The Freetown Freedom Festival is set for this weekend.
Organizers have released the schedule of events.
Friday

6 p.m.: Opening ceremony featuring the Long Family Singers and a tribute to veterans (stage)
7 p.m.: Don Pedigo and the Coyotes (stage); games open; vendor booths open (items available at the fire station include hamburgers, hot dogs, chili, nachos, chips, desserts and drinks)
8:30 p.m.: Open karaoke (stage)
Saturday
8 a.m.: Pershing Township Volunteer Fire Department 5K walk/run
9 a.m.: Tractor drive (ball diamond); baby contest registration (stage)
9:30 a.m.: Baby contest begins (stage)
10 a.m.: Games in Kids’ Alley open; vendor booths open (items available at the fire station include fish sandwiches, hamburgers, hot dogs, nachos, chips, taco salads,desserts and drinks)
11 a.m.: Country Kickers You Can Dance! (stage); parade registration and lineup begin (Freetown Church of Christ)
11:45 a.m.: Dance with Country Kickers (stage)
Noon: Meet-and-greet with Don Pedigo (Freetown and Pershing Township Museum)
1 p.m.: Parade
2:30 p.m.: Wild West show (in front of stage); variety of activities in Kids’ Alley
3 p.m.: Country singer Isaac Kenneth (stage); cake walk begins (on concrete pad)
4 p.m.: Open karaoke (stage); Wild West show (Kids’ Alley); auction (fire station)
4:30 p.m.: Karaoke contest ($5 entry fee) (stage)
7 p.m.: Fabulous Hickbillys (stage)
10 p.m.: Fireworks
Sunday
10:30 a.m.: Church service (stage)
11 a.m.: Car show registration (ball diamond)
Noon: The Johnson Boys (stage)
Noon: Car show (ball diamond)

1 p.m.: The Metamora Boys (stage)
2 p.m.: Long Family Singers (stage)

5 p.m.: Festival ends
6 to 9 p.m.: After-party for volunteers only (park)
