Spraytown Free Methodist Church plans to host a sock hop from 5 to 9 p.m. Aug. 3 at the Freetown Community Center at Second and Union streets.
The menu features hot dogs, chips and sodas. Prizes will be awarded for the best dressed.
The cost is $2 per person and free for children 5 and under.
The event, open to the public, is raising funds for the church roofing project.
