Library planning Apollo 11 moon landing party
The Jackson County Public Library invites the community to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing at 6 p.m. July 16 at the library, 303 W. Second St., Seymour.
The free “Party Like It’s 1969: Apollo 11 50th Anniversary Landing Party” is open to all ages, and registration is preferred by July 14 at myjclibrary.org/events or by calling the 812-523-4636.
Participants will view footage of the moon walk, share memories and try astronaut food.
