9th annual Dinner on the Bridge planned
The ninth annual Dinner on the Bridge, sponsored Friends of the Medora Covered Bridge, will be held at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 3.
Tickets are now available and may be purchased by sending a check for $25.00 each to: FMCBA, P.O. Box 132, Medora, IN 47260.
A stamped, self addressed envelope is helpful but not required. The Jackson County Visitors Center in Seymour and Ladonna’s Country Cookin’ Restaurant & Catering in Salem also have tickets available.
The meal will again be catered by Ladonna’s Country Cookin’. The menu will feature roast beef and ham, scalloped potatoes, green beans, salad, rolls, homemade pie, iced tea, lemonade and water.
The Friends group plan to set up at the Jackson County Fair July 21-27 in the building behind the antiques building. The theme is: It’s all in a days work. There will be a display of tools and other artifacts appropriate to building a bridge in 1875 and demonstrations.
