Fish fry proceeds to help stock community building
A fish fry is set for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday in the 200 block of North Main Street in Brownstown.
The event will be hosted by Brownstown Electric Supply Co., and proceeds will go toward stocking and maintaining the Brownstown Central Fellowship of Christian Athletes Shed for You community building.
The building is open 24/7 in the parking lot in the 100 block of West Walnut Street and offers nonperishable food, personal hygiene items and other basic needs for people who need them.
In the event of rain, the fish fry will be at Heritage Park, 121 E. Walnut St.
