Mr. Ralph Gerth, 80, of Seymour, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at Schneck Medical Center. He was born in Jennings County to the late Cecil and Apphia (Wohrer) Gerth.
Funeral services will be at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Monday, June 24 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Dan Defriece officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Sunday from 2-6 p.m. and Monday from 9 a.m. until time of service.
He was a veteran of Indiana Army National Guard. He enjoyed hunting and fishing but loved spending time with family.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Gerth; children, Lisa (Brad) Miller, Gayle (Bryan) Lockman and Jay (Amanda) Gerth; grandchildren, Tyler (Heather) Lewis, Hannah (Brandon) Harrell, Erica (Adam) Gebhart, Erin (Caleb Robinson) Long, Olivia Gerth, Noah Tingley, Jordan Miller, Tyler Miller, Jacob Miller and Erica (Corey) Hocking; 5 great-grandchildren; brothers, Walter (Wilma) Gerth, Donald Gerth, Pete (Deb) Gerth; and sisters, Carole Elam and Alice West.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a great-grandchild; brothers, Dale Gerth, Jerry Gerth, Louis Gerth and Richard Gerth; and sister, Helen McCulley.
