Hackman receives postseason honor
RICHMOND
Indiana University East senior golfer Lance Hackman, a Brownstown Central High School graduate, was recently named to the 2019 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete list.
Hackman was among 186 men’s golfers nationwide to earn the honor.
Hackman, who finished his Red Wolf career as the program leader in most rounds played, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Informatics and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
Seymour golfers place at Greensburg
Three Seymour golfers placed high in an Indiana Golf Association junior tour event at Greensburg Country Club last Thursday.
Bridget Marshall shot 84 (+14) to place second in the girl’s 16-19 division. Sidney Parmer of Greensburg was first with an 83.
In the boy’s 16-19 group, Ethan Dippold tied for fourth with an 88 and Cole Schaefer tied for eighth with a 94. Michael Gambiani of Columbus was first in this division with an 82.
