Basic photography sessions set at library

Information services clerk Emma VonDielingen plans to teach basic photography at 6 p.m Tuesdays in the meeting room at the Jackson County Public Library, 303 W. Second St., Seymour.

Attendees can learn to take better photos using their camera or smartphone.

Dates, topics and registration deadlines are June 25, beginning manual mode (June 21); July 30, what your camera can do (July 26); and Aug. 20, fundamentals of natural light (suitable for cellphones) (Aug. 16).

These free classes for ages 16 and older are limited to 15 people, and registration is required by visiting myjclibrary.org/events or calling 812-523-4636.
