

BROWNSTOWN
Ethel B. Davis, age 95, of Brownstown, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 9, 2019, at her residence surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Davis was a beloved mother, homemaker, and friend to many who shared her joy in life and nature readily with others.
Born on March 21, 1924, in Manchester, Kentucky, she was the daughter of B.P. and Addie Bowling Baker, both of whom preceded her in death. She married Charles W. Davis and he preceded her in death on March 3, 1987.
Survivors include two daughters: Carla Hartnell of Bellingham, Washington, and Nancy Dadak of Minneapolis, Minnesota; five grandchildren: Robert Davis, Matthew Davis, Laura Radzanowski, Elizabeth Jones, and Rachael Hartnell; five great-grandchildren; and her adopted family, Amber and Corey Robbins and their children, Brooklyn, Nicholas, and Cole.
Ethel was also preceded in death by one son, Wayne Davis; one daughter, Patricia Jones; four sisters: Ruth Hignite, Alabama Davidson, Ortha Davidson, and Mae Conard; and four brothers: Lester Baker, Ted Baker, Hobart Baker, and Feltner Baker.
Funeral services for Ethel B. Davis will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc., Brownstown, with Bill Isaacs as speaker. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery, Brownstown.
