Two local students were among those named to the president’s list for the spring semester at Trine University in Angola.
The students are Shaney Smith of Freetown, who is majoring in psychology, and Owen Yeadon of Brownstown, who is studying design engineering technology. Smith is a student in the university’s College of Graduate and Professional Students.
To be named to the president’s list, a student must complete a minimum of 15 hours and have a grade-point average between 3.75 and 4.0, while those in the College of Graduate and Professional Students must have at least 12 hours and fall in the same GPA range.
