FREETOWN
Terry Von “T” Anderson III, age 22 of Freetown, passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2018 in Bartholomew County. Born November 21, 1996 in Columbus, he was the son of Terry Von Anderson II and Jennifer (Adams) Downs.
A 2015 graduate of Brownstown Central High School, he was active in sports, playing on the football team and baseball team. T was a member of the Freetown Church of Christ. He loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, boating on the river with his dad, playing basketball and golf with his mom. T also loved spending time with his sisters, nieces and cousins.
Survivors include his parents, Terry Von Anderson II of Freetown and Jenny Downs of Seymour; sisters, Brittney (Justin) Trueblood and Jenna Downs both of Seymour; nieces, Kinzley and Tessalyn; grandparents, Jean (Jeff) Post of Seymour, Robert Wayne Adams of Alabama, and Terry Anderson of Freetown; aunts & uncles, Tammy (Scott) Tanner of Columbus, Kristy (Brian) Schrink of Seymour, Heather (Justin) Clark of Seymour, Tasha (Wes) Maxie of Brownstown, Todd Anderson of Freetown and Melissa Reynolds of Seymour. T also leaves behind his German Shepherd, Daisy Mae as well as numerous cousins.
T was preceded in death by his grandmother, Judith Anderson; his cousin, Lance Anderson and his Golden Retriever, Ruttler.
Pastor Barry DeWitt will conduct services for Terry at the Freetown Church of Christ at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 22, 2019. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Woodlawn Life Celebration Centre and from 10:00 a.m. Wednesday until service time at the church. Burial will follow in the Freetown Cemetery. Memorials can be made at the funeral home to the Brownstown Central Football Pops Club.
