The 400-meter relay team of A.J. Engel, Carter Hendrix, Plummer and Croquart finished second in 55.60; Hendrix was third (13.11) and Levi Croquart (13.58) was fourth in the 100-meter dash; and Ryan Elmore was fifth in the shot put (36-3). Elmore’s toss was a personal record.

Others posting PRs were Engel in the 400 (1:11.22) and Addison Wingler (25-4 ½) and Haley Ackeret (17-7) in the shot put.

Jennings County, Seymour and New Albany advance to the Bedford North Lawrence Regional, which starts at 1 p.m. Saturday. They will be joined by Columbus North, BNL, Bloomington North, Franklin Central, Brownsburg, Mooresville, Mt. Vernon, Jasper and Boonville.
