Hayden Historical Museum’s annual meeting will be at 6 p.m. Monday in the pavilion.
The meeting will be conducted as part of the Hayden Little Hoosier Historians’ last regular meeting of the school year. The fourth, fifth and sixth graders who make up the Little Hoosiers will be wrapping up their school year by recognizing outstanding members. A brief review of their activities and projects also will be presented.
Museum Director Rodger Ruddick will highlight some of the museum’s activities and accomplishments since the 2018 annual meeting and will preview what’s coming up.
The Wood Shop Boys band will provide the entertainment after the business portion of the meeting. They feature a wide range of music, from pop to rock to country. Band members are Earlsel Smith, Pat Sullivan, Jon Stoner, Leonard Collett, Gary Kreutzjans, Mike Waskom and Jason Gambrel.
Members of Boy Scout Troop 518 will conduct a flag raising ceremony for the pavilion flagpole and the flags at the Edgar Whitcomb monument to bring an end to the meeting.
Refreshments will be available and museum buildings will be open for visitors. Everyone is welcome to attend.
