Library makes summer programs guide available

The Jackson County Public Library’s summer programs guide is now available at the Seymour, Crothersville and Medora libraries and on the Discovery Bus.

Program guides, printed by The Tribune courtesy of several local sponsors, are being distributed to all students during presentations by library staff in county schools. They also are available online at myjclibrary.org/ myjc-program-guide/.

Special programs include A Universe of Stories summer learning program (May 28 to July 28); Family Fun Days in Crothersville (June 3), Seymour (June 6) and Medora (June 8); Animal Tales in Seymour, Crothersville and Medora (June 11); Bubblefest in Crothersville (June 27) and Seymour (July 9); and The Water Show in Crothersville and Seymour (July 26).

There also will be Build an Alien Workshops in Crothersville (June 20), Medora (June 13) and Seymour (June 21) with registration starting May 28; a Planet Party for teens in Seymour (July 11); Observational Astronomy and Astrophotography with Forrest Willey for adults in Seymour (June 15); The Universe and How to View It for adults in Seymour (June 23); Party Like It’s 1969: Apollo 11 50th Anniversary Landing Party for adults in Seymour (July 16); MiniCon for adults (July 19) and all ages (July 20) in Seymour; Drop-In Tech Time in Crothersville (June 18) and Medora (July 9); and Cooking for One for adults in Seymour (Aug. 6).
