
BROWNSTOWN
Flotilla Mae Hanner Williams, 94, of Brownstown, passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2019, at her home surrounded by family.
Flotilla was a member of Brownstown Church of the Nazarene.
Born on November 24, 1924, in Medora, she was the daughter of Samual and Mary Daulton Hanner, both of whom preceded her in death.
Survivors include three sons: Robert Lloyd (Linda) Williams of Freetown, Charles Eric Williams of Brownstown, and Samual Kirk Williams of Brownstown; eight daughters: Vivian Faye Esile of Seymour, Elinda Gayle Williams of Brownstown, Phyllis June Belcher of North Vernon, Deborah Jean Lazemby of West Port, Joyce Ann Piatt of Brownstown, Marietta Kaye Williams of Brownstown, Sandra Reene Hercamp of Brownstown, and Karen (Darren) Edwards of Madison; 30 grandchildren; several great-grandchidren; and several great-great grandchildren.
In addition to both parents, Flotilla was also preceded in death by one son, Randall Lowell Williams; and two sisters: Mable June Hall, and Nellie M. Edwards.
Funeral services for Flotilla Mae Hanner Williams will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc., Brownstown, with Wayne Edwards officiating. Friends may call from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc., and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday, May 15, 2019, at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery, Brownstown.
