
Purdue Polytechnic Columbus honored its graduating students, including three from Jackson County, Wednesday at the Columbus Learning Center.
Graduation festivities began with a pre-commencement celebration. The Boilermaker Special was on hand to give rides to graduates and their families to commencement, where students received their bachelor’s degrees from Purdue University in various areas of study.
Samuel B. Ayres and Paul Robertson Najmon (highest distinction), both of Brownstown, and Jordan Blake Schoenfelder of Seymour (degree conferred December 2018) all received Bachelor of Science degrees in mechanical engineering technology.
Purdue Polytechnic offers bachelor degrees in computer information technology, industrial engineering technology, mechanical engineering technology and robotics engineering technology.
