A barbecue dinner and an initiation for new member Sue Neaman were conducted by Theta Omega chapter of Phi Beta Psi sorority May 1 at Fraternal Order of Police Donald M. Winn Lodge 108 in Seymour.
Twenty members were in attendance. Hostesses were Natasha Miller, Jennifer Snow and Jackie Hill.
Tables were decorated with blooming potted plants that were later given as door prizes.
First vice president Joan Trimpe presided over the initiation. Hill was conductress assisted by Michele Lewis, Jamie Grinstead and Stephanee Squires-Roberts. The stations were Phi, Dana Byrkett; Beta, Melanie Klakamp; and Psi, Taryn Rockey. Neaman was presented with a red rose and a bag of gifts.
Winning the floral table decor were Angi Reynolds, Lewis, Rachel LeClaire, Squires-Roberts, Desiree Hall, Janet Cooper, Klakamp and Jennifer Payton.
The next meeting, which will include the installation of officers, will be at 7 p.m. May 20 at the Community Foundation of Jackson County in Seymour.
