Commission to discuss housing subdivision

The Seymour Plan Commission will meet at 7 p.m. today in the council chambers at city hall, 301 N. Chestnut St. Attendees should enter the side door off of Third Street. The meeting is open to the public and press.

The agenda includes:

•Steve Farris requesting primary plat approval on 55 lots, located a half-mile west of County Road 1000E on Enos Road for Martin Farm Subdivision.

•Valerie Padilla requesting the city rezone 810 W. Second St. from R-3 to C-1 zoning.

•King’s Trucking and Excavation requesting the city rezone 740 N. Chestnut St. from I-1 to I-2 zoning in order to obtain a consistent zoning so two parcels may be replatted into one lot.

•Lutheran Community Home requesting the city rezone 111 Church Ave., 1503 and 1505 S. Walnut St.,1428 Gaiser Drive and 100, 204, 208, 300 and 304 W. Cardinal Drive from R-1 and C-2 zoning to R-3 zoning to bring the zoning in line with the city’s current zoning classifications and obtain consistent zoning across all of the properties.

•Richard David Brewer requesting the city vacate an unused property for extension of the South Avenue alley located between 210 South Ave. and 688 S. Vine St.
