Summer concert series kicks off Saturday night
The second year of the Brownstown Summer Concert Series kicks off Saturday night at Heritage Park, 121 E. Walnut St., Brownstown.
James Dupré will take the stage at 6:30 p.m. for an acoustic show featuring local duo Lonesome Crow.
The show is free thanks to a sponsorship by Schneck Medical Center. Salt Creek Brewery will be onsite selling beverages.
People may bring their lawn chairs to watch the show.
Other shows in the series, organized by Brownstown/Ewing Main Street, include Danny Paisley and the Southern Grass, June 8; Forrest Turner/Justyn Underwood and The Sodbusters, July 13; and Allie Colleen Brooks, Aug. 10.
