IHSAA announces baseball sectional pairings
The IHSAA unveiled its 2019 baseball sectional pairings Sunday evening.
Sectional play will run May 22-27 at designated locations.
In Class 4A’s Sectional 15, at Bedford North Lawrence, Seymour will play Floyd Central in the first round. Should SHS win, it faces the victor of Jennings County-BNL.Jeffersonville and New Albany each received byes, and will play each other in the semifinals in the lower bracket.
Sectional 30 (North Harrison) will open with Brownstown Central versus Scottsburg, with the winner playing the victor of Silver Creek-Salem. In the lower bracket, Corydon Central plays Charlestown and the hosts face Providence.
At Sectional 61 (West Washington), Orleans faces Crothersville and Trinity Lutheran takes on the Senators. Winners will play for the title.
Regional games will be held June 1.
