Book discussion groups meeting this month

Jackson County Public Library book discussion groups plan to gather to discuss book themes, writing styles, characters and more this month.

The groups are open to adults, and there is no attendance requirement. The books are available to check out at the library checkout desks.

The Tuesday Night Book Club will discuss its monthly book at 7 p.m. May 14 at Tokyo Hibachi and Sushi, 1519 E. Tipton St., Seymour. The group will review “The Museum of Extraordinary Things" by Alice Hoffman. Everyone attending should bring money if they plan to eat. Sign up for the program as you check out the book.

The book discussion group at the Crothersville Library, which meets on the third Wednesday of each month, will gather and share thoughts on “I Can Only Imagine" by Bart Millard of MercyMe with Robert Noland at 6 p.m. May 15 at the library, 120 W. Main St., Crothersville.

Fantastic Fiction will discuss “Still Me" by Jojo Moyes at 11 a.m. May 17 at the Seymour Library, 303 W. Second St. This group meets on the third Friday of each month.

The Medora Library book discussion group will meet at 5:30 p.m. May 20 to talk about “The Promise of Lumby" by Gail Fraser at the library, 27 W. Main St., Medora. The group meets on the fourth Monday of each month.
